Wat is de sonar van een dolfijn?
Dolfijnen jagen op vissen met behulp van hun ogen en ook met sonar. Sonar (SOund NAvigation and Ranging) is een techniek die geluid (en de echo daarvan) gebruikt om onder water te navigeren of voorwerpen te ontdekken. Met deze meloen zendt een dolfijn geluidstrillingen uit, de zogenaamde ‘kliks’.
