Wat zie je op Spect-scan?
SPECT-CT is een gecombineerd onderzoek. Bij een SPECT onderzoek wordt er, met behulp van een licht radioactieve stof, beeldvorming verricht van een bepaald orgaan. De radioactieve stof is gelabeld aan een orgaanspecifieke stof wat ervoor zorgt dat alleen het desbetreffende orgaan afgebeeld wordt.
Waarom Spect-scan?
De SPECT-scan geeft informatie over de activiteit en de doorbloeding van de hartspier. Ook helpt de scan bij het vaststellen of iemand vernauwde kransslagaders heeft. Bij een SPECT-scan wordt de patiënt met plakkers (elektrodes) aangesloten op een ECG-apparaat. Hiermee wordt een hartfilmpje gemaakt.
