Wat is soft cast?
Voor sommige aandoeningen aan uw enkel is kalk- of kunststofgips niet nodig. Uw arts kan dan een behandeling met Soft Cast voorschrijven. Soft Cast is een flexibel kunststofgips, maar biedt voldoende stevigheid voor uw aandoening.
Wat voor soorten gips zijn er?
Verschillende soorten gips
- Gipsverband. Een gipsverband is van kunststof of van kalkgips.
- Gipsspalk. Een gipsspalk is met verband bevestigd en voelt deels hard en deels zacht aan.
- Zwemgips. Zwemgips is een kunststof gipsverband waarbij geen watten of waterafstotende watten worden gebruikt.
Wat mag wel en niet met loopgips?
