Wat is LBBB?
Een bundeltakblok is een hartritmestoornis. Er gaat iets mis in de rechter- of linkerbundeltak van het hart. Problemen in de bundeltakken komen vaak voor, maar leiden zelden tot klachten. Meestal is behandeling van een bundeltakblok niet nodig, maar er zijn uitzonderingen.
Wat is de bundel van His?
De bundel van His is een natuurlijke elektrische verbinding tussen de boezems en de kamers van het hart. Bij een ablatie verbreekt de arts deze verbinding om ervoor te zorgen dat de ritmestoornis in de boezems de hartkamers niet bereikt. Hij beschadigt het eerste gedeelte van de bundel, net onder de AV-knoop.
