Wat houdt echo in?
Bij echografie brengen we weefsels en organen in beeld met behulp van geluidsgolven. Tijdens het maken van de echo zet de radioloog de echokop (transducer) op uw lichaam. Deze transducer zendt (onschadelijke) geluidsgolven uit, die door de organen in uw lichaam worden teruggekaatst.
Wat kun je zien bij echo buik?
Met een echografie van de hele buik kunnen zowel de organen in de bovenbuik (zoals de lever, galblaas en nieren) als de organen in de onderbuik (zoals de blaas, baarmoeder en eierstokken) zichtbaar worden gemaakt. Dit onderzoek wordt onder andere verricht bij laboratoriumafwijkingen of buikklachten.
Waarom veel drinken voor echo?
