Wat houd Shintoïsme in?
Het Shintoïsme, in het kort Shinto en grofweg vertaald als “de weg der goden”, is het inheemse geloof van Japan. Shinto is even oud als Japan zelf en is samen met het boeddhisme het dominante geloof in het land. In tegenstelling tot andere religies heeft het shintoïsme geen heilige schriften of profeten.
