Waar kun je offroad rijden in Nederland?
Zoals je wellicht weet hebben we in Nederland helaas geen officiële onverharde wegen. Als je legaal offroad wilt rijden zit je dus voornamelijk vast aan passages langs weilanden die normaliter door de boeren worden gebruikt.
Wat is een Tet route?
TET is de afkorting voor “Trans Euro Trail”. Een verzameling van 51.000 km allroad/ offroad route door Europa. Ook in Nederland loopt een stuk van de TET. Sinds het ontstaan in 2017 is er sindsdien steeds meer route aan toegevoegd.
Welke motor Tet route?
De 1250gs is een motor gemaakt voor elk terrein, hij heeft de echte kenmerken van een offroad motor. De 1200 gs en de 1250 gs zijn dan ook motorfietsen gebaseerd op een Dakar motor uit de jaren 80. Hier is het model nog steeds op gebaseerd, waardoor deze motoren goed overweg kunnen met deze omstandigheden.
What did John Ross do in the trail of Tears?
In 1838-1839 Ross led his people in the removal westward (known as the “Trail of Tears”) to the Indian Territory (Oklahoma). Once there, Ross was instrumental in drafting a Cherokee constitution that united the eastern and western branches of the tribe.
Who was John Ross?
Born on October 3, 1790 at Turkeytown, Alabama, John Ross was the son of Daniel Ross, a Scotsman who had gone to live among the Cherokee during the American Revolution. His mother was also ¾ Scottish and ¼ Cherokee.
What did Colonel William Weer ask Colonel Ross?
As the federal Army under Colonel William Weer approached the Indian Territory, Ross asked the colonel for a “civilized and honorable warfare” by the army invading the Cherokee Nation. He declined Weer’s invitation for an interview in his camp.38 On 15 July Ross welcomed Colonel Weer and his officers at Rose Cottage.
