Hoe werkt de WGA?
Uitgangspunt bij de WGA is “hoe meer de werknemer werkt hoe hoger zijn inkomen”. De werknemer van wie UWV concludeert dat sprake is van minimaal 35% loonverlies, en die daarnaast de wachttijd van 104 weken heeft doorlopen, heeft recht op een WIA-uitkering.
Hoe wordt de WGA berekend?
De loongerelateerde WGA-uitkering is gelijk aan 75% (en vanaf maand drie 70%) van het maximale WIA-maandloon minus (maximumdagloon / werkelijk gerealiseerde dagloon x actueel verdiende inkomen). Deze formule is het best te volgen aan de hand van onderstaand voorbeeld. Een voorbeeld.
