Hoeveel dinosaurussen hebben ze gevonden in de steenkoolmijn van Bernissart?
Op het einde van de 19de eeuw werden er 322 m diep in de steenkoolmijn van Bernissart een dertigtal vrij volledige iguanodonskeletten ontdekt. Doordat de beenderen nog op hun plaats zaten, was een ‘waarschijnlijk natuurgetrouwe’ opstelling mogelijk, die al vlug bezoekers uit de hele wereld aantrok!
